A Short Biography

Rev. Andrew Losier

Called of God as a teenager, Andy graduated from Wheaton College in 1934, Dallas Theological Seminary in 1937 and was married the same year on May 21st to Dorothy, his college sweetheart.

Under a faith mission, Dorothy and Andy sailed for East Africa and arrived there Dec. 5,1938. They worked among the Kipsigis until 1940, then were assigned to work among the nomads of the Masai Tribe, in the foothills of Kilimanjaro.

In, 1952 they founded the Christian Literature and Bible Center. At one point they had twelve distribution centers in ten countries. To date they have distributed over 2 billion pieces of free Christian Literature in 50 different languages, just in East and South Africa. After 43 years in Africa, distribution has been started on an International scale, "Around the World."
